What is OMM?
Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) is a hands-on method of evaluating and treating mechanical pain due to a structural imbalance of muscle, tendon, and/or bones. This imbalance may be the source of your child’s headache, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain.
By manipulating the muscles, soft tissues, and joints, OMM helps to alleviate pain. I have noticed that people’s pain is usually much improved after the first treatment!
OMM also consists of lymphatic drainage techniques which are helpful for treating conditions such as recurrent acute otitis media, sinus infections, pneumonia. I have even used OMM to help with constipation!
